KLE SOCIETY, BELGAUM
The Karnataka Lingayat Education Society was started in the year 1916 at Belgaum by a group of seven selfless teacher,
who were devoted to the course of education and upliftment of the community, educationally and socially.
New Institution, right from kindergarten to post-graduate course, were started, as and when the need arose, and this was possible
with the encouragement and sufficient donation given by the philanthropic public of north Karnataka and south Maharastra.
The Society has its administrative Head Office at Belgaum. At Present the Society is running more than 238 Educational Institution, all over the State of Karnataka,
adjoining districts of Maharastra and even at Delhi. These Institution impart quality Education in the faculties of Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, Education, Engineering, Medicine,
Dentistry, Nursing, Hotel Management, Management Studies, Business Administration, Pharmacy and Ayurveda at collegiate and Post-graduate level.
All these Institution are well equipped and are housed in the society’s own buildings. About 87,309 students are studying in the all these institution with a man power excess of 10,500.
